CLAY SLAB WORKSHOP
Was run Saturday 16 April 2022.
$100 + clay. $25 discount for members.
If interested please message Gary Nevin at garynevin.artist@gmail.com.
Slabwork is a sophisicated way of getting our hands dirty with clay. By using this method we can all go home with a piece of Art which could grace any mantlepiece.a great way to start is by building a house...any shape or form but would be good to have a pic or idea in mind...if not we can invent something.
We start by rolling out the clay...letting it dry a little...making our template..then placing it on the clay and cutting carefully...Then we assemble...any down time we can think about accessories to put on our creation.
Looking forward to seeing you.
IT IS FUN....
